My parents came to visit the first weekend of April, and we set out on our first hike of the season, to Lake Twenty-two. It’s a little over an hour away, in the North Cascades. This was a great early season hike to start easing our legs back into shape! It was 5.4 miles roundtrip, with a steady elevation gain most of the way to the lake.
It had snowed the night before, so we were in for a beautiful surprise when we reached the lake. I could not believe how still the water was! It made for some incredible pictures.
Hike Stats :
Distance: 5.4 miles roundtrip
Elevation Gain: 1350 ft
