Another great hike at Mount Rainier is Comet Falls. We hiked this one in the fall, and it’s a short but challenging hike with lots of smaller waterfalls along the way. The trail was rocky and fairly steep, gaining 1250 feet of elevation in just under two miles.
I loved all the waterfalls we passed along the way!
Love being in the mountains with this guy 🙂
We briefly thought this waterfall was our destination, but this is Bloucher Falls, part of East Fork Van Trump Creek.
The trail continued a bit further, and at last we reached Comet Falls, which has an impressive height of 392 feet.
The trail continues up to the right of the falls to Van Trump Park, which is on our list to hike another day!
This is a great hike if you’re up for a challenge and love waterfalls! Check out some of our other favorite hikes here.
