This past weekend another good friend of mine came to visit, and we had a great time exploring Seattle.
Our first stop was the Fremont Troll, found underneath the Aurora Bridge. It was built in 1990 after winning a competition by the Fremont Arts Council. It’s such a funny, random statue!
Next we headed from the Troll over to nearby Gasworks Park. Loved this view across the water with Mt. Rainier in the distance!
It’s a beautiful view of the Seattle skyline and South Lake Union from Gasworks Park! We sat and watched the boats, kayaks, and sea planes for a while. It was such a beautiful day!
Afterward w stopped by Kerry Park, another of my favorite spots for a great view of Seattle.
It was a fun afternoon of exploring some new sights and catching up with a great friend! We had a busy few days while she was here visiting, so stay tuned for more posts coming soon!
